An 85-year-old Tavistock resident is dead after a two vehicle collision.
First responders were called out to the collision at the intersection of 16th Line and Maplewood Side Road around 3:20 Wednesday afternoon.
Police say they determined that a northbound vehicle and an eastbound vehicle collided at the intersection.
The driver of the northbound vehicle was transported to a local area hospital by EMS to be treated for minor injuries.
The driver and passenger of the eastbound vehicle were both extricated from their vehicle with the driver was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The passenger was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries and later died in hospital.
The deceased has been identified as 85-year-old Jean Claassen.
The investigation into the collision continues.
