Municipalities in Perth-Wellington are on the receiving end of funding to help deal with COVID-19.
The funding is coming from the Safe Restart Agreement, a joint initiative of the federal and provincial governments, and officials say it will help municipalities to continue delivering critical public services including transit and shelter for the vulnerable.
Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says his riding will get over $7.5-million across 11 municipalities.
That includes $2.29-million for the City of Stratford, with $1.80 for municipal funding and over $487-thousand for transit.
