Perth County OPP are crediting everyone involved in helping find a missing 19-year-old safely.
They say they received a report just before 11:30 Wednesday morning that the male was missing and last seen around 10 o’clock the night before at a home on Perth Line 42, near Road 140, in Perth East.
It was believed the male left the residence on foot and police were concerned for his well-being.
The West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, the OPP Canine Unit, OPP Aviation Services, Perth County OPP, and Huron County OPP assisted with the search.
The OPP Emergency Response Team successfully located the male safely around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the Ontario Search and Rescue Volunteer Association had been engaged, but had not yet arrived.
