Huron Perth Public Health says they’re seeing community transmission of COVID-19 in southern Huron County.
HPPH is reporting six new COVID-19 cases, and they say they will likely report an additional number of cases on Tuesday based on testing carried out over the weekend.
They say all of the cases are associated with a workplace outbreak in Bluewater/South Huron, and many of them are clusters within the same households.
HPPH says the cases are also connected to a larger spread of cases across Southwestern Ontario.
The new cases bring the number of active cases in the region to 13 and the overall number to 93.
The death toll remains at five.
