A 61-year-old Huron East man faces a series of charges after police say he was driving while impaired.

Just before 9:30 at night on August 15th, Perth County OPP says an officer saw a vehicle towing a dump type trailer that didn’t have any rear lights.

Police say the vehicle was stopped on Perth Line 55, and the driver was showing signs of impairment.

The driver was arrested and brought to a local OPP operations centre for further testing.

He faces charges including driving while impaired and driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor
