Meeting tonight about local hospital bed closures

There will be an important meeting tonight in Stratford about bed closures at the Huron Perth Health Care Alliance.

The HPHA announced last it would close 17 beds as part of its service realignment.

The alliance denies that this has anything to do with funding issues.

However, CUPE and the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions are saying it’s all about money.

They will hold a public information meeting tonight in Spruce Lodge at 7:00pm.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
