One person suffered life-threatening injuries after an early morning collision near Listowel.
Just after 12:30 Wednesday morning, first responders were called to a two-vehicle collision on Line 81 at Road 169, just southwest of Listowel.
Perth County OPP says they determined a mini-van was travelling westbound on Line 81 when it was struck by a pick-up truck that had been travelling southbound on Road 169.
The intersection is controlled by a stop sign in the north and south directions.
Both vehicles had one occupant, and both drivers were injured and transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the pick-up truck was subsequently transported by Ornge Air Ambulance to another hospital with life-threatening injuries while the driver of the van suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and police say charges are anticipated.
