Huron OPP officer cleared by SIU

The SIU says a Huron County OPP officer won’t be facing charges.

Back in March an 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old male were hurt after failing to stop for police in Seaforth.

During a car chase their vehicle hit a snowbank and rolled several times, injuring both of them.

They were taken to hospital and treated.

An SIU investigation concluded that the officer “conducted himself well within the limits prescribed by the criminal law.”
