Parents told to expect school bus cancellations due to a lack of drivers

A shortage of drivers means that families in Huron Perth should expect some days of school bus cancellations.

Huron-Perth Student Transportation Services says they are looking for approximately 40 school bus drivers across the two counties which impacts school bus services in both the Avon Maitland

District School Board and the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board.

They say the cancellations will take place within a School Bus Operator region, and will rotate among the routes within that region.

Cancellations will be posted on the HPSTS website as soon as possible as well as through the BusPlanner Delays App.
