Don’t be surprised if you see discolored water flowing from the taps over the next few weeks.
The City of Stratford says crews will be flushing hydrants at various locations as part of the city’s regular maintenance program.
They say property owners in these areas and in surrounding neighbourhoods may experience discoloured water as a result of the hydrant flushing, but water quality is not affected.
They say the discoloured water will clear, but before doing laundry, please check to see that water has cleared.
