Two people face fraud related charges after a police investigation 

Two people face fraud related charges after a police investigation that started in August.

Huron County OPP says they started an investigation on August 24th to determine the source of some counterfeit $100 bills that were being passed at various businesses in Exeter.

They say they were ultimately led to two individuals that had used the counterfeit bills at three business located in Exeter.

Police also turned up evidence that revealed one of the accused’s had been responsible for making the counterfeit bills.

Additionally, police also found stolen personal identification with one of the accused.

A 27-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man from Exeter both face numerous charges and have future court appearances in Goderich.
