Farms across Perth-Wellington are getting a financial boost.
Ontario’s Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ernie Hardeman, says more than $7.9 million in cost-share funding will go to farms and agri-food businesses across Ontario through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership.
Among those on the receiving end are 64 projects in Perth-Wellington with the local projects seeing investments of up to $688,559.99.
The funding is in addition to programming launched this year to assist the sector in meeting challenges related to the COVID-19 outbreak
