Stratford Mayor reflects on anniversary of 9/11

Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson says Canadians are standing united with Americans on this anniversary of 9/11.

Mathieson tweeted Friday morning that “as Canadians we stand with our American family, friends & allies as we remember the tragic events of 9/11.”

He adds “let us mourn those that died, praise and honour everyone that came to the rescue”

Mathieson says we will never forget the events that have changed our collective lives forever.

Friday marks the 19th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that claimed the lives of 2,793 people including 24 Canadians.
