Stratford’s outdoor theatre will stay open until the end of next month.
It comes after Stratford City Council voted unanimously at their meeting Monday afternoon to support a request from the theatre’s organizers to stay open until October 31st.
Queen of the Square Cinema, those behind the theatre in the Cooper parking lot, had asked permission to show films and other events at the theatre on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from this Saturday until October 31st.
Pandemic-relief funds from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario are being used to pay for the theatre’s operations.
