Stratford Summer Music is shining the spotlight on a local educator.
SSM has presented its 2020 Award for Excellence in Music Education to Colleen Rothwell, who just began her 20th year as an elementary school teacher and who’s currently teaching at Shakespeare Public School.
Classically trained as a vocalist, Rothwell is a music teacher.
The award brings with it a $1,500 prize which is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Festival City.
