Venues across Stratford taking part in Light Up Live event

Several venues across Stratford are set to light up the night.

It’s part of the Light Up Live event taking place Tuesday night, a national day of visibility for the live event community,

The event recognizes the arts, entertainment and recreation sector jobs that were lost between June 2019 and June 2020.

Stratford City Hall, Festival Theatres and Stratford Summer Music offices will all light up in red.

The live event community is also using it as an opportunity to make several requests of government including that they recognize that the industry has been devastated by the effects of COVID-19 and for continued financial support of the industry.
