UPDATED: Four new cases of COVID-19 in HPPH

There are four new cases of COVID-19 in Huron Perth. New data released by Huron Perth Public Health on Tuesday shows three new cases in Stratford and one in Perth East.

HPPH says two of the new cases are from close contact with a previous case and the other two are still under investigation but are not related to each other.

The number of active cases is at five. There are no outbreaks at area long-term care homes, schools, or childcare centres.

In total there have been 140 cases of COVID-19 in the region since the pandemic was declared.  The death toll remains at five.
