You’re being encouraged to “go green” by taking part in Waste Reduction Week.
The week runs from Monday until Sunday and officials in St.Marys say they will be sharing waste reduction and ideas each day on the town’s Facebook page.
Residents are also being challenged to collect 1000 pieces of garbage in the community and keep track of it through the Litterati mobile app.
The app is available for both Apple and Android devices.
