Police searching for log splitter stolen near Exeter

Huron County OPP are searching for a log splitter they say was stolen near Exeter.

Over the weekend, police say a victim reported his 35-ton Champion log splitter was stolen from a property just outside the town.

He said it happened sometime between 6:15 and 6:30 Saturday morning.

The victim reported the suspect may have left on a John Deere riding tractor with the log splitter valued at $3,000.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
