London woman faces impaired driving charges

A 51-year-old London woman faces impaired charges after she was stopped by Stratford Police.

SPS says they got a call around 10 o’clock Wednesday night about an orange Hyundai that was observed all over the road heading south, out of Stratford on Road 119.

Police located the vehicle on Road 119, in the area of Line 9, close to Wildwood Conservation Area.

They say officers stopped the vehicle and after speaking with the female driver they made observations about her consuming alcohol.

She was arrested for Impaired Driving and was transported to Stratford Police Headquarters.

Samples of the driver’s breath were provided, which indicated that the driver was above the legal limit for alcohol in her system.

She’s been charged with Operation While Impaired-Alcohol, and Operation While Impaired-Blood Alcohol Concentration.

She’s scheduled to appear in court in Stratford on December 21st and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.
