City reaches agreement with developer regarding Cooper Site proposal

There could be light at the end of the Cooper Site tunnel.

Last night Stratford City Council approved an agreement with Riversedge Development.

The company wants to submit a proposal that would develop the Cooper Site using all or part of the old railroad building.

The deal allows Riversedge to study the site and get public input before coming up with a plan.

City Council isn’t obligated to accept that proposal, which must be in by December 10th.
