Santa’s Parade of Lights set for Sunday in Stratford

Santa Claus is coming to town.

Santa’s Parade of Lights is set for this Sunday evening in Stratford with organizers saying its an alternative way to enjoy one of Southern Ontario’s best Santa Claus parades in a unique and fun way.

From 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock Sunday night, you’re being invited to attend a drive-through parade experience along Lakeside Drive, where vehicles will move through a parade route, and holiday floats will remain stationary on display.

Physical and social distances will be maintained between floats and vehicles.

Kinsmen Club of Stratford President Hal Montgomery says it will take between ten and twelve minutes to drive by the parade.

“All of our floats are going to be lined up on Riverside Drive and all the floats are going to be permanently fixed in position and all the vehicles will drive by the floats.”
