Huron Perth MOH says we need to keep following COVID-19 recommendations

Huron Perth’s Medical Officer of Health says she’s very concerned that people in the region are becoming complacent about following public health recommendations around COVID-19.

Dr.Miriam Klassen says we are in the midst of the second wave and we need everyone’s participation to flatten the curve.

She says everyone has to contribute their part and while many of us are frustrated and fed up we all need to have the same goal or we will end up staying at the Orange level of public health measures longer than we need to.

Dr.Klassen says we need to work together.

“I’m urging everyone to hang in there, follow our public health measures and let’s get our region back to Green.”

Dr.Klassen adds that people should remember to be kind and polite to HPPH workers as they are dealing with the pandemic just like the rest of us.
