More than $1.4-million is on the way to Perth-Wellington municipalities.
Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says the funding is coming from the federal-provincial Safe Restart Agreement.
Among the recipients are the the City of Stratford which will see $363,000 and Perth County which will receive $184,000.
Officials say the Ontario government is allocating an additional $695 million across the province to provide financial relief for municipalities to ensure they don’t carry operating deficits into 2021.
This investment builds on the first phase of the federal-provincial Safe Restart Agreement announced this summer.
