Tosh, Clifford

Clifford Leslie Tosh age 86 passed away peacefully at his residence with his loved ones by his side on Tuesday September 9, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Best friend and true love for over 61 years of Evelyn (Lougheed) Tosh. Clifford and Evelyn farmed in North Easthope Township retiring to Stratford in 1990; they travelled extensively in their motor home all over the continent in the summer and Florida in the winter. Making many friends along the way and visited with them and family. Clifford’s hobby was wood carving and was enjoyed by family and friends.  Survived by his children Brian (Vivian) of Alberta, Brenda (Bob) Blundell of Shakespeare. Grandsons Chad (Trina) Tosh, Jeff (Shantelle) Tosh, Craig (Courtney) Blundell. Granddaughter Amanda, Great grandchildren Wyatt and Jessie Tosh, Chace and Molly Blundell. Survived by his brother, Elwood (Lois) Tosh, sisters Eileen, Mary, Margaret, Beatrice (Bill) Bell, Jean (Don) Early, Thelma (Ken) Beaver, Mildred and sister-in-law Doris Tosh. Along with many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Besides his parents Ernest and Iva (Henderson) Tosh, Cliff was predeceased by brothers Norman and his wife Mary, and Tom, also several brother-in-laws. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday September 14, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday September 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery.
