OPP confirm identity of man killed near Clinton

The Huron County OPP has confirmed the identity of the man killed near Clinton.

It was indeed 70-year-old Donato Frigo of Caledon.

Police say he and a woman were riding horses near Hullett Wildlife Conservation Area Saturday evening.

An unknown man approached and shot at them.

The woman was hurt but managed to escape.

The OPP’s investigation is ongoing and access to the area where the shooting happened is still restricted.

Anyone with information about this incident is requested to contact the Huron County OPP immediately at 1-888-310-1122, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or their nearest police authority.
