An investigation into what sparked a blaze at the Forest Motel continues.
Fire Prevention Officer James Marshall tells MyStratfordNow.com an investigator from the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office was expected to be at the scene on Wednesday.
First responders were called to the motel around 9:30 Tuesday morning with firefighters on scene for twelve hours battling the blaze.
One person was transported to the hospital from the scene with serious injuries.
Marshall says the hotel is a total write off.
