Students in Perth County will be heading back to in-person learning on Monday.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce announced Wednesday afternoon that schools in the Huron Perth Public Health Unit region will return to in-person learning next week.
Lecce says the government made the decision based on scientific advice and data from Ontario Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams and the province’s health experts.
Students across Ontario started January with virtual learning as part of the provincial lockdown.
The province has taken a staggered approach to reopening physical classrooms since then.
