An upcoming information session is aimed at helping farmers and other agri-food operators better protect workers’ health and safety and prevent COVID-19 outbreaks.
The webinar, taking place at 1:30 on Friday afternoon, is being co-hosted by Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece.
Officials says experts from Workplace Safety and Prevention Services will provide guidance on requirements and health and safety best practices to manage the risk of COVID-19 in agricultural workplaces, especially those with employees and temporary foreign workers.
Registrations are open until 4 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
