Perth County OPP say they responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Line 37 around 8 o’clock at night on February 11th.

They say the investigating officer determined the driver had been drinking.

The driver then failed a Roadside Approved Screening Device test, according to police, and he was arrested and brought to a local police station for further testing, where two samples of breath were provided.

The 45-year-old man from East Zorra-Tavistock Township was charged with Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs and Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus).

He was suspended from driving for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for a week.
