Hydro One says it’s working to ensure a safe and continued supply of power in Stratford.
The company says it’s required to replace a transformer at the Stratford Transmission Station on Devon Street with the new one decreasing the noise from the station and ensuring safe working conditions for staff.
It’s expected the project will start in April and last until winter 2022 with crews on site Monday to Friday.
They say some vegetation will have to be removed on the north side of the station and there could be extra noise or dust while the work is being completed.
