One person seriously injured in two-vehicle collision in West Perth

A two-vehicle collision in West Perth has left one person with serious injuries.

First responders were called out to the collision on Line 44 just after 10 o’clock Monday morning.

Perth County OPP says a pick-up truck was travelling eastbound on Line 44 when it crossed the centre line and struck a tow truck travelling west bound.

The pick-up truck went into the ditch and came to rest in a field with the driver transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The tow-truck driver wasn’t injured and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
