Stratford announces flower bed plans for 2021

We now know just what we’ll see when it comes to flower beds in Stratford.

City officials say, as was the case last year, the COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on their resources and will limit how many beds they can manage.

They say they will be planting the annual flower beds at city hall, Shakespearean Gardens, Memorial Gardens and the Avondale Cemetery.

The city will also be placing and maintaining 300 hanging baskets in the downtown core and along Lakeside Drive, as well as 50 large planters in and around downtown Stratford.

The city’s perennial beds will continue to be maintained as well.
