Stratford Warriors make additions to management team

The Stratford Warriors have filled out their management team.

On the heels of hiring Jason Clarke as Director of Hockey Operations, the hockey club has named Nick Parr their general manager and Mark Nelson as assistant general manager.

Parr is also the Huron-Perth Lakers’ Director of Midget Hockey and Nelson also serves as the Warrior’s goalie coach as well as the Erie Otters’ Director of Evaluation in the Ontario Hockey League.

After not playing this past season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Parr says the team has its work cut out for it.

“The toughest part is that we weren’t able to do a lot of scouting throughout the course of this year so there’ll be a lot of game footage that has to be watched, relying on relationships around all the leagues.”

Parr adds it’s an honor to join the team with it’s deep traditions and history.
