Stratford Police searching for stolen sign

It shouldn’t be hard to miss.

Stratford Police say they got a report on Monday from staff at The Barkery dog bakery that one of their signs had been stolen over the weekend.

The sign, announcing the store was moving to its new location on Downie Street, had been bolted to the rod-iron fence at the business’s old location on George Street.

It’s believed it was stolen sometime between Saturday and Monday and so far there are no suspects in the investigation.

Anyone who knows what happened is asked to call SPS or Crime Stoppers.
