Seven new COVID-19 cases in Huron Perth

There are seven new COVID-19 cases in our region.

Huron Perth Public Health updated their data Thursday morning with 27 active cases, six more than Wednesday.

Four of the new cases are in Stratford with the other three in St.Marys.

One case was reassigned to a different health unit.

There have now been 25 presumptive screens for variants of concern with twelve active, an increase of six from Tuesday.

There have been 1,446 cases since the start of the pandemic with 1,368 recovered.

The death toll remains at 51.
