Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton is set to receive over $818,000 in funding for building upgrades.
The money is coming from one-time federal and provincial funding to go towards installing heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems in long-term care homes across Ontario.
At Knollcrest, officials say the money will go to upgrading heating, ventilation and air conditioning, maximizing infection prevention, replacing windows and doors and installing a new fire sprinkler system.
