Perth County OPP is searching for suspects after damage was caused to a Monkton restaurant.
Police say they were called on Sunday after two suspects were seen causing mischief at the restaurant on Maddison Street East.
When confronted by the owner just after 2:00 o’clock in the morning, the suspects threw eggs at their vehicle, before fleeing on foot.
Investigators say there have been ongoing issues at the restaurant with spray painting, and the letters of the outdoor sign being rearranged or stolen in the middle of the night.
The suspects are described as both male, and approximately 16-18 years of age with one youth wearing a backpack, and the other wearing camouflage pants.
If you have any information on what happened you’re asked to call Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
