OPP offering tips for property owners during hunting season

The OPP has a few tips for landowners now that hunting season has begun.

Police say your property should be properly signed.

That means placing “No Trespassing” signs at regular intervals on the land you want to keep hunters off of.

Anyone that wants to hunt on your land has to ask your permission first.

If you come across anyone on your land that you don’t want there you should notify police immediately rather than confronting them.
