There’s a new way for North Perth residents to make sure they know what’s going on.
The municipality says it has chosen a free alert system called Voyent Alert to send out messages that will be timely and accurate in the case of an emergency.
Officials say it’s a multi-purpose communication service used to send alerts to residents, businesses, and visitors during critical events as well as for relevant day-to-day communications such as planned maintenance and water advisories.
