We are learning details about a major project set to start in Stratford this fall.
Officials with the City of Stratford say they are planning to begin work on the Queen Street Storm Sewer Diversion Project.
The diversion sewer will collect drainage from the south part of the city and direct it north towards Lake Victoria with the goal of mitigating flooding issues in the downtown core.
It’s expected the work will begin in the fall and be completed by the spring of 2022.
Some temporary road closures are expected.
