New Community Emergency Management Coordinator in Perth County

Perth County has a new leader to look to when it comes to emergencies.

Officials say David Clarke has been hired as the county’s new Community Emergency Management Coordinator.

He comes to the position after most recently working with the Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute with Toronto Pearson Fire and Emergency Services.

County officials say the COVID-19 pandemic has brought the role and impact of the CEMC to the forefront with an increased need for coordination across multiple disciplines.

Perth County provides Emergency Management services for The Municipality of North Perth, Township of Perth South, Township of Perth East and the Municipality of West Perth.

Over the past year the County also provided CEMC services for the Town of St. Marys.
