Stratford mayoral candidate profile: Matthew Murphy

It looked like Stratford’s mayoral election was going to be a three horse race this year.

That was until the very last day of nominations when Matthew Murphy threw his hat into the ring.

Murphy says he was motivated to run by what he believes is a lack of ethics at city hall

If elected mayor Murphy says he’d hold city council to a higher standard:

Murphy says he’d start the journey to higher ethics with the Cooper Site:

When asked about how to pay down the city’s debt, Murphy says installing a technology called plasma gasification could help:

Murphy wants to reinforce his belief that the debt and holding city hall to higher standards are two of his biggest issues:
