There’s been another death from COVID-19 in our region.
Huron Perth Public Health updated their data on Wednesday morning with the death toll now at 56.
An HPPH representative says the death was that of a community member and it wasn’t connected to any ongoing outbreaks.
There are eight new cases in the region with one in Stratford, one in North Perth and one in West Perth.
The rest are in Huron County.
There are 75 active cases in the region, down one from Tuesday, with 44 active cases associated with variants of concern which is down five from Tuesday.
