Splash pads allowed to open in Ontario this Victoria Day long weekend

Children in Ontario will be able to cool off at splash pads this long weekend.
In a reversal from what was announced on Thursday, the province says the splash and spray pads will be open as of 12:01 a.m. Saturday.
A statement from Health Minister Christine Elliott’s office says that they recognize the pads can be safely enjoyed and they have amended the regulation to allow them.
