A well known member of the Perth South and St.Marys community is being recognized.
The Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce says Rob Staffen has been chosen to receive the 2021 Business Leader of the Year Award.
They say Staffen started as an entrepreneur when he was 14 and opened his family’s first business in 1971.
He acquired controlling interest of the St.Marys Golf & Country Club in 1993 and has been involved in owning several other businesses in the commercial and real estate industries since then.
He is also involved in several local charity projects.
Staffen will receive the award at a gala on September 16th.
