Ontario is reporting 1,135 new COVID-19 cases.
Fifty-eight per cent of the new cases are in the hot spots around the GTHA.
Another 19 people died with the death toll now at 8,697.
The recovery rate is steady at 95 per cent.
Test positivity is the lowest it’s been since mid-March at 3.6 per cent.
There were more resolved than new cases reported.
Over 37,000 tests were done over the last 24 hours with over 143,000 vaccines given.
