Stratford’s flags are being lowered to honour the lives of the 215 children found in a mass grave at a former residential school in British Columbia.
Mayor Dan Mathieson is requesting the flags be lowered from Monday until June 9th, 215 hours, to honour each of the children.
Mathieson tweeted on Sunday that he’s also requesting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declare a national day of mourning.
The bodies were discovered in Kamloops B.C.
