Ontario’s Natural Gas Expansion Program includes Brunner.
Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says approximately 44 homes and businesses in the area will be able to connect to natural gas for the first time.
Under phase two of the provincial program, Ontario is allocating $814,850 to support the new connection to the natural gas distribution system in Perth East.
Construction on the expansion is expected to begin as soon as this year and it’s being funded through a $1-per-month charge to existing natural gas customers.
