Canada Day being marked virtually in Stratford

Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson is urging everyone to reflect on what we can do to make our country better for everyone this Canada Day.
The city will be marking July 1st virtually again this year with a musical celebration from Revival House.
It starts at 8 p.m. and can be viewed on a live stream on the city’s Facebook page.
Officials say they recognize celebrations this year can’t ignore or overlook the terrible discovery of 215 children’s bodies at a former residential school in B.C.
Mathieson says we must acknowledge the mistakes of the past, learn from them, work towards reconciliation, and move forward together.
